"Zaman Back" Project: Leadership Transition and Revival of Historical Awareness

On November 19, 2024, the unique "Zaman Back" project was held in the Red Hall of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. The event was organized by the "Zhastar Rukhy" Youth Organization of the Bostandyk District in Almaty. This event was dedicated to introducing first-year students and the ceremonial transfer of chairmanship from Myktybai Yerasyl.

The primary goal of the event was to inspire the audience with patriotism by promoting key milestones in the history of the Kazakh people. As part of the project, theatrical performances and creative presentations vividly depicted historical periods of the Kazakh nation. National art forms, such as playing the dombra, traditional Kazakh dances, and other cultural performances, were also showcased.

The "Zaman Back" project became a significant event that inspired every attendee, combining the greatness of history with the strength of national consciousness.

The event was attended by the Advisor to the Chair of the "Zhastar Rukhy" Youth Organization of the Bostandyk District, the chairs of city-level "Zhastar Rukhy" organizations, the chair and team of the "Zhastar Rukhy" at the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, the chair and team of the Higher Council of "Zhastar Rukhy" at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as representatives from other faculty organizations.

The "Zaman Back" project is closely related to SDG 4: Quality Education, as it promotes patriotism and historical awareness among the youth through educational activities, theatrical performances, and cultural presentations. These initiatives help young people gain a deeper understanding of the value of their history and culture, while also developing their creative and leadership skills. Additionally, the project is connected to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as organizers and participants from various universities and youth organizations actively collaborate, creating a network of partnerships that strengthen ties between educational institutions and foster the exchange of experiences. This cooperation not only supports the development of youth initiatives but also contributes to effectively achieving common goals and the mission of the organizations.

At the end of the event, the chair of the organization, Myktybai Yerasyl, officially handed over his position to Khairiddinov Jasur. This important ceremony underscored the significance of generational continuity within the organization. The invited guests shared their warm wishes and expressed their support for Jasur's future endeavors.

The "Zaman Back" project not only demonstrated respect for history but also had a significant impact on fostering patriotism among young people. The activities held during the event contributed not only to creative expression but also to strengthening team spirit, serving as a bright example of supporting the new generation of leaders.

This project served not only as a reminder of the importance of lessons from the past but also as a platform for awakening the national consciousness of youth, inspiring them to pursue new ideas and initiatives. Such events play a key role in shaping future leaders and reinforcing the goals and mission of the organization.
