The relevance of Phaseological units and Phrasal verbs in Foreign language teaching

On November 21, 2024, senior lecturers of the Department of Turkology and Theory of language Taubayev Zharas Turysbekovich and Abdullayeva Fariza Muratbekkyzy and the  foreign scientists of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Russian Federation) conducted a master class on the topic:  "The relevance of Phaseological units and Phrasal verbs in Foreign language teaching" with   the 2nd year master’s degree students of "Foreign language: two foreign languages".  The issues of phrasal verbs as  a part of the phraseological system of the English language were discussed, problems about the essence and features of the concept of phrasal verbs were considered. Hypotheses and recommendations were given on the current stage of the linguistic and cultural direction in Phraseology ‒ the stage of developing theoretical positions and methods for a comprehensive study of the Semantics and Pragmatics of Phraseological units in the interaction of two semiotic systems ‒ natural language and culture.
