Achievements of the "R&AI" Team: Success at the Regional Stage of the First Tech Challenge
On November 21, 2024, the "R&AI" team, composed of students from schools No. 124, No. 81, and NIS, successfully participated in the regional stage of the First Tech Challenge held in the city of Semey. The team was led by Dias Bakhytkhanov, a 4th-year student at KazNU specializing in "Robotic Systems."
This competition provided an excellent opportunity for students passionate about robotics to develop their creative abilities, strengthen their technical skills, and improve their teamwork capabilities.
The First Tech Challenge positively impacts the mental and emotional well-being of its participants. Engaging in the project helps unlock creative potential, enhance decision-making skills, and build the confidence necessary for success. (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being)
The "R&AI" team achieved the following results in the competition:
- Secured a quota to participate in the Central Asia FTC, giving students the opportunity to enhance the quality of their education and gain international experience (SDG 4: Quality Education).
- Received the Think Award, recognizing their outstanding achievements in robot design and innovative solutions (SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
- Honored with the Finalist Alliance Partner Award for advancing to the finals and demonstrating exceptional teamwork and collaboration with other participants (SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals).
The achievements of the "R&AI" team strengthened not only their technical expertise but also their confidence in the future. The students showed they are ready not only to develop skills in robotics and engineering but also to reach new heights.
