«Literature is the foundation of culture.»

Within the framework of SDG 4: Quality Education, there was a  meeting with  a renowned poet and journalist Murat Shaimaran which was  was held at the initiative of the lecturers  Gulzhan Bolatova and Shokan Amangeldyuly from the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory. Young literary scholars,  the third-year students of  “6B02306 - Literary Studies” major, participated in the event. The aim  of this meeting was to enhance the role of creative individuals in education, to engage young people in reading and to promote their spiritual development.  The participants exchanged  the views on the role and importance of literature and journalism in providing quality education. During the meeting, Murat Shaimaran shared his experiences and pieces of  advice to contribute to the improvement of education quality. This event became an important step towards broadening the horizons of the younger generation, increasing interest in national literature, and fostering a love for reading.
