Round table on the topic "Ecological state of the city of Almaty"
On December 3, 2024, at the Department of "Pedagogy and Educational Management" of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a round table on the topic "Ecological state of the city of Almaty" was held for the sustainable development of the quality of education. The event was attended by scientists and faculty of the department, students and doctoral students.
The moderator of the round table, Marat Amirkanov, introduced the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management, N.S. Algozhaeva, teachers of the department, A.K. Duisenbayeva, E.T. Bayarystanova, as well as professors of the University.Kunaeva Sadykova M.A., 4th year students studying at the faculty, gave the floor to the speakers in order to hold the event.
At the opening of the event, in her opening speech, the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management, Nursultan Algozhayeva, spoke about the environmental problem of Almaty, noting that the purpose of the round table is to explain environmental problems to young people in a meaningful way and to form responsibility for important environmental problems.
The event was organized by the deputy head of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management for scientific and innovative activities and international cooperation Duisenbayev A.K., senior curator of the department Bayarystanova E.T. and doctoral students studying in educational programs "Pedagogy and Psychology", "Social Pedagogy" Amirkanov M., Aldan A., Seydulla G., Kazakhbaeva G.
At the round table, in her report, Salybai Balzhan noted that the formation of environmental education of students through extracurricular activities should begin with secondary education, and Zhumabayeva Alua's problematic study on "Climate change and the ecological future of Almaty" impressed students, student Ibatolla Nur speaking on the topic: "The city under the sky: how can we save Almaty from smog?" revealed the significance of the current problem.
During the round table, Professor Murat Abdykasymovich Sadykov significantly revealed the possibilities and advantages of eco-tourism in Almaty.
At the round table, the participants asked questions to the speakers. At the end of the round table, Deputy Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management for Science and Innovation Duisenbayev A.K. thanked the participants of the event, stressing to the youth the need for joint environmental protection.
