On December 2, 2024, a meeting was held with first-year students of the Geoinformatics educational program on the topic of compliance with the principles of eliminating inequality in education. Eliminating inequality in education is an important aspect of sustainable development of society and ensuring social justice. This issue is relevant in many countries, including Kazakhstan. Such inequality can arise as a result of regional, economic, gender and other factors. Comprehensive measures are needed to eliminate it. It is important to eliminate the quality gap between urban and rural schools. We discussed the need to provide modern infrastructure, quality teachers and resources to rural areas. In some societies, there is a problem of limited opportunities for girls to get an education. In this direction, it is important to strengthen cooperation between the family, society and school, and organize special programs. Eliminating inequality in education is a long-term and comprehensive work. In this process, the state, educational organizations, civil society and the private sector must act together. It was noted that a fair education system contributes to the development of society and the full realization of the potential of each citizen.
