On December 5, 2024, the Council of young scientists of the Higher School of Economics and business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a webinar for doctoral students with PhD, leading researcher of the Department of Economics Temerbulatova Zhansaya Serikovna on the topic “Using economic and mathematical methods for data analysis”. Zhansaya Serikovna shared her experience in conducting any scientific research, explaining the features of the accumulation of types of information, the main reliable sources of information and their relationship. He comprehensively disclosed the types of economic and mathematical analysis, methods of descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, time series analysis, panel information analysis. According to the results of the same analysis, it was possible to build an economic model and check the correctness of the model using the Hausman test, analyzing the alignment with specific examples.The webinar was attended by all scientific researchers and discussed topical issues.
