Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies Awarded the "Farabi" Gold Medal

On December 26, 2024, as part of the 90th-anniversary celebration of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, presented special awards to the university’s faculty members.

Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies and Director of the Center for Modern China Studies, Nabizhan Mukametkhanuly, was honored with the "Farabi" Gold Medal. This prestigious award recognizes his exceptional contribution to the development of historical science in independent Kazakhstan, as well as his dedication and commitment to academic excellence.
