Methodical seminar of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics: “Actual problems of the educational process”
On January 14, 2025, at the Faculty of Law of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a methodical seminar was held on the topic: “Actual problems of the educational process.” The event was organized by members of the Academic Committee, senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics A.A. Bazilova and lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics A.Zh.
The seminar featured presentations by the faculty of the department on topical issues of education, knowledge assessment, competence development and the use of modern teaching methods.
So, Candidate of Law, associate professor Bisenova M.K. made a presentation “Bilimdi bakylau zhane bagalaudyn turleri men formalary (Types and forms of knowledge control and assessment)”, Candidate of Law, associate professor Sharipova A.B. presented the topic “Problems of competence assessment and soft skills in the educational system", Candidate of Law.N., Professor Mukhamadieva G.N. analyzed the effectiveness of massive open online courses (MOOCs) in the report “A Critical look at MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses)”, Candidate of Law, acting associate professor, licensed forensic expert Alayeva G.T. She shared her experience of using the "case study" method in the educational process, which made it possible to discuss new approaches to involving students in the process of practice-oriented learning. PhD in Law, Professor G.M. Atakhanova presented the report "Tiimdi bilim berudin adisteri" (Effective teaching methods), where she revealed innovative approaches to improving the quality of the educational process.
During the discussions, the seminar participants developed recommendations for improving the educational process. Special attention was paid to:
* the introduction of modern technologies and teaching methods;
• development of the knowledge, competencies and soft skills assessment system;
• Optimization of teaching through practical orientation.
The seminar ended with an active question and answer session, where participants exchanged views and shared their professional experience.
