January 31, Islamic Studies undergraduates attended the play "Optimistic Tragedy" and left with a different impression. The performance, which took place at the G.Musrepov Children and Youth Theater, was based on the play by Vsevolod Vishnevsky. It is said that difficult times such as war create heroes, and its consequences continue to affect every person and society as a whole even after the war ends. This performance shows that war has such a destructive power that it destroys the spiritual values inherent in a person. When a person's inner core is broken, the door opens to all kinds of evil. "Optimistic Tragedy" is a clear sign of protest against oppressors and those who justify and propagate evil. The undergraduates noted that such works allow us to look at history from a different perspective, learn from the past and compare it with today's society.
