The national development plan (until 2029) Notes that the availability and quality of the education system determines the quality of human capital in the country, the level of labor productivity and the competitiveness of specialists. Undoubtedly, one of the main factors affecting the effectiveness of education is its compliance with the changing requirements of the labor market.
The Faculty of chemistry and Chemical Technology trains specialists with skills necessary for various chemical industries. The teaching staff of the faculty is in constant contact with domestic manufacturing enterprises in order to provide an objective expert assessment of educational activities by employers, to make the necessary changes in educational programs and the educational process. 4th year students of the Faculty of chemistry and Chemical Technology under the educational program "chemistry" visited Goldman and Young LLP in the framework of the discipline "examination of household chemicals".
This production is engaged in the development and production of high-quality household chemicals, personal hygiene, disinfectants. Students were given information about the products produced, methods of developing products, methods of their analysis. The head of the development department E. Nikulina spoke widely about the work of the enterprise, who showed all the laboratories of the enterprise, including a laboratory for preparing water for the production of household chemicals, a laboratory for quality control of products, a workshop for the production of packaging materials for manufactured products. T. Bimurzayeva, an employee of the Department for the development of detergents and cosmetics, told about the features of the development of household and cosmetic products of the plant. During the meeting, the students, together with the staff of the development laboratory, independently selected the necessary ingredients of the product being developed and prepared a liquid soap for hands. They scientifically substantiated the need for each component of the tool being developed, tried the knowledge gained in practice.
Goldman and Young LLP employs graduates of the Faculty of chemistry and Chemical Technology, and they are in demand. Therefore, this meeting is important for expanding the practical knowledge of 4th year students in the disciplines "examination of household chemical goods", "fundamentals of Chemical Technology", "analytical control of environmental objects" and planning the career of a future specialist. On the example of this enterprise, students were convinced that science is the basis of technological innovations that contribute to economic growth and improve the quality of life of citizens. It also saw the implementation of the principles of Sustainable Development Goals No. 12 (responsible consumption and production). Because this production takes into account the environmentally rational use of chemicals and waste in accordance with international principles to reduce their entry into the air, water and soil in order to minimize the negative impact on human health and the environment.
