On February 11, students from the Faculty of Journalism at al-Farabi Kazakh National University attended the performance of the world-renowned tragicomedy "Forget Him..." by Russian playwright Grigory Gorin at the Gabit Musrepov State Academic Theater for Children and Youth.

The play was translated into Kazakh by the famous writer Qyzhyrghali Toleuishov, and the stage version was directed by the talented director Zhuldyzbek Zhumanbay. The combination of modern theatrical techniques and the actors' skill enhanced the emotional impact of the performance, leaving the audience deeply moved.

The play depicts the trial of Herostratus, who burned the Temple of Artemis in ancient Ephesus for fame. It masterfully portrays the struggle between reason and evil, justice and betrayal, truth and falsehood. The performance led the audience to reflect on human values, the thirst for fame, and the ways to leave a mark in history.

The modern theatrical approaches and the actors' expertise made the performance even more vivid and emotionally intense. After the show, the students shared their impressions and highly praised the professionalism of the theater troupe. This cultural trip contributed to their spiritual development and heightened their interest in the performing arts.

The visit of the students from the Faculty of Journalism to the theater was an important step in deepening their cultural knowledge and provided them with new perspectives on art, which will benefit their future professional endeavors.
