​​​​​​​Meeting of Al-Farabi KazNU students with a hospitality industry representative: Certification and Career Opportunities

The Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a meeting with Zaituna Tokhtarovna Akhiyarova, Director of the Hospitality Industry Certification Center (HICC) under the KTA and KAGIR.

The event was held as part of the certification process for graduates of the "Tourism" and "Restaurant and Hotel Business" educational programs. During the meeting, participants discussed the importance of certification in enhancing graduates’ competitiveness in the job market, as well as future employment opportunities for students and master's degree candidates.

More than 70 students and faculty members attended the event, demonstrating a high level of interest in professional certification and career growth in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Certification will allow students to confirm their professional qualifications, significantly increasing their chances of successful employment in leading companies in the industry. Participants received valuable advice from an expert on the requirements for professional training and career development opportunities in this field.

Such meetings play a crucial role in strengthening the collaboration between the university and representatives of the tourism business, contributing to the training of highly qualified specialists in demand in the job market.
