Former Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim Leadership Lecture

Today, Binali Yıldırım, the former Prime Minister of Turkey, delivered a leadership lecture at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The lecture discussed the cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey, as well as the development of trade-economic and educational ties between Turkic countries. The lecture was also attended by Mira Rashidovna from the teaching staff of the Department of religious studies and cultural studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and political science. Binali Yıldırım spoke about the close friendly relations formed between Kazakhstan and Turkey in the fields of economy, trade, education, and industry. “We see great potential for developing trade-economic relations within the framework of Turkic state organizations. As an example, the foreign trade relations of Turkic countries can be cited. This demonstrates how much it stimulates the development of economic cooperation. But the economy is just one part of the picture. To strengthen the relations, we need to know each other better. This means we must develop our common values, primarily language, science, and education,” said Binali Yıldırım. The meeting ended with an exchange of opinions, and participants had their questions answered.
