It is known that every young specialist graduating from a higher educational institution strives to find a job in their specialty and find their place in life. Naturally, graduates of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University also constantly keep this issue in mind. On February 18, 2025, a meeting of the Employers' Council was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The meeting was attended by: Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhamal Kaiyrbekovna, Head of the Cultural Center at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty Hossein Aghazade, Head of the HR Department of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Almaty Manapova D.A., Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC DB KZI Bank Masenova G.B., General Director of the construction company RAMS Serkan Uysal, Head of the Japanese Language Courses Department of the Kazakhstan-Japan Center Kanbalaeva Ch., Acting Head of the HR Department of JSC Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan Zhanabai Gulnaz. In addition, the corporate secretary of JSC Lotte Rahat Malgazhdarova A.M., representative of LLP Leela Internationals Stadnichenko A.N. took part in the meeting in an online format and shared their thoughts. and the director of the Boarding School for Gifted Children named "Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi" Dosmailova M.K.

Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Yem Natalya Borisovna noted that communication with employers is very important for the faculty. "Young people are the future of the country, an important factor in competitiveness." Our goal is to contribute to the future of these young people and support them in taking confident steps. I believe that today's meeting will provide an opportunity to further strengthen our ties with you," said Yem N.B.

The heads of departments spoke at the meeting: Head of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia Kokeeva D.M., Head of the Department of Chinese Studies Kerimbaev E.A., Head of the Department of the Far East Abagan A.B., Head of the Department of Turkology and History of the East Egamberdiev M.Sh. The heads of departments shared their views on the organization and conduct of student practices, the issue of graduate employment, increasing the number of students, and attracting sponsors from among employers.

The employers noted that during the industrial practice, the students of the faculty approached the tasks set very responsibly and mastered the language well, thanked the teachers and suggested that in the future it is necessary to promote the development of graduates' dual specialty - finance, economics and law, along with language training, and also to strengthen their translation skills.

Important meetings will continue in the future to strengthen partnerships between employers and the faculty.
