On February 25, an off-campus session was held at Novotel Hotel for 3rd-year students of the educational program "6B11103 – Restaurant Business and Hotel Management" as part of the course "Technological Services of Hotel and Restaurant Complexes." The objective of the session was to familiarize students with hotel service processes and reinforce theoretical knowledge through practical experience.
During the session, students explored the hotel's infrastructure, service standards, room preparation and cleaning procedures, the restaurant department, conference halls, and recreational areas. The hotel staff explained client interaction methods, quality service standards, and innovations in the hospitality industry.
As a result, students gained insight into hotel service technologies, observed the working processes of hotel staff, and experienced international service standards, helping them develop professional skills. Novotel management also provided information on career opportunities in the industry.
This practical session aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) #4: Quality Education, as it allowed students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, gain hands-on experience with modern technologies, and directly engage with real-world hospitality operations. Through an interactive learning approach, students enhanced their professional competencies and were better prepared for future employment in the industry.
