Training "The Role of Mathematics in Economics" at the Faculty of Pre-University Education

An educational and exciting training on the topic "The Role of Mathematics in Economics" was held at the Faculty of Pre-University Education. The event was organized by the Department of Pre-University Education, and the invited guests of this event were the head of the Department of Mathematics - Imanberdiev Kanzharbek Baltabaevich and the Deputy Head of the Department of Mathematics for Educational and Methodological Affairs and Education - Korpebay Guldana Toleubekkyzy, who prepared a meaningful program for the participants aimed at revealing the importance of mathematical methods in economic processes.
The main goal of the training was to show students how mathematical tools help analyze, model and predict economic phenomena. The following key aspects were considered during the event: The interactive format allowed students to better understand how mathematical models can be used to solve real economic problems. Group discussions were held as part of the training.
Upon completion of the training, the participants expressed gratitude to the organizers for the accessible and interesting presentation of the material. Many noted that they had gained useful knowledge that would be useful in their further studies and professional activities. This helped them see mathematics not only as an abstract discipline, but also as a powerful tool for analyzing and predicting economic trends. Such events help to increase students' interest in studying interdisciplinary approaches and deepen their knowledge in the field of applied mathematics and economics. The organizers expressed hope that such trainings will become regular and help students better prepare for their future careers. The training "The Role of Mathematics in Economics" contributes to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular, SDG 4 "Quality Education", providing access to relevant knowledge and developing analytical thinking in students. The event also reflects the principles of SDG 8 "Decent Work and Economic Growth", since it introduces future specialists to the methods of mathematical modeling for analyzing economic processes, which increases their competitiveness in the labor market. The development of an interdisciplinary approach and the use of mathematical tools to solve economic problems contributes to the formation of sustainable skills necessary for the innovative development of the economy.
