On March 5, 2025, the Faculty of Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University celebrated International Women's Day on March 8. The organizers of the festive event were teachers of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Ibraeva A.S. and Doctor of Law, Professor Baimakhanova D.M., as well as students of group 102 of the 1st year. The host of the holiday was Shamshenov Azamat, who congratulated the female teachers of the department and faculty and his classmates on the wonderful holiday of spring, wished them health, success and happiness. Then Erbolat Arken spoke, who prepared a special presentation dedicated to the history of the celebration of International Women's Day in the world. He noted that this holiday has its roots in the middle of the 18th century and begins with the movement of American women for their rights. Yerbolat also noted the important role of Clara Zetkin and Rosa Luxemburg in the development of the women's movement in Western Europe in the late 18th - early 19th centuries. Aitkulov Nurdaulet and Yeshkhabulov Tolkyn spoke about the adoption of March 8 as a national holiday in the Soviet Union and in Sovereign Kazakhstan. All the young men of group 102 took turns congratulating the women and girls of the Faculty of Law and expressed warm wishes for health, kindness and peace. Then a small festive concert took place. Smagulov Akezhan played Abdimominy Zheldibayev's kyui "Erke sylkym" on the dombra, and then all the students of group 102, together with their teachers, sang the song "Anaga salem" by composer Yeskendir Hasangaliyev. At the end of the event, the boys of group 102 presented their teachers and classmates with flowers and small souvenirs-gifts.
