KazNU's positions in the QS subject ranking have been confirmed

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has confirmed its position in the higher education system of Kazakhstan and Central Asia in the QS by Subject World Ranking 2025.

This year, the university ranked 251-300 in the field of «Mathematics» and 360th in «Natural Sciences».

In the field of «Engineering and Technology», KazNU ranked 304th. For the first time, the university entered the ranking in the field of «Chemical Engineering» at 401-450 and «Mechanical Engineering» at 501-575.

In the «Arts and Humanities» category, the university ranked 160th, and the «Modern Languages» program made it to the top 101-150.

Additionally, the university maintained its position in several key areas, including: «English Language and Literature» at 151-200, «Economics and Econometrics» at 251-300, «Education» at 351-400, and «Physics and Astronomy» at 401-450.
