On March 12, the 2nd stage of the traditional “Best Advisor – 2025” competition, organized by the “Sunkar” trade union of students and undergraduates, was held at the university. This stage consisted of two parts - the “Brain Ring” intellectual competition and the “Start up” scientific project competition.
At the first stage of the competition, the advisors introduced themselves through a video clip and demonstrated their professional and creative abilities. As a result, the six best advisors qualified for the next stage:
1. Ryskali Tolganai – Advisor of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology;
2. Alimbay Almas – Advisor of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management;
3. Sarsenbai Zhanat – Advisor of the Faculty of Philology;
4. Tletay Sholpan – Advisor of the Faculty of Information Technologies;
5. Zhaynak Aidar – Advisor of the Faculty of Law;
6. Baitukaeva Dana – Advisor of the Faculty of International Relations.
In the second stage, the advisors passed two types of tests.
In the “Brain Ring” intellectual competition, participants demonstrated their level of knowledge, logical thinking and agility. By answering various questions correctly and quickly, they proved their comprehensive knowledge.
And in the “Start up” competition, advisors presented their scientific projects and presented innovative approaches to solving topical problems in their field. At this stage, their scientific research, innovation and feasibility of the project were evaluated. Each participant demonstrated the importance of their field and defended their forward-looking ideas.
The “Best Advisor – 2025” competition is aimed at improving the professional skills of university advisors, strengthening their relationships with students and glorifying their contribution to education and science. For the competition participants, this is a unique opportunity to demonstrate their pedagogical, organizational, and leadership skills.
