The 1st round of the International Chinese Language Speaking Competition was held

       On April 2, 2025, the first round of the international public speaking competition "The Day I Will Never Forget" took place. This significant event brought together students from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and N.P. Ogarev Research University. The competition attracted participants from the 1st to 4th years of the specialties "Translation Studies," "Foreign Philology," and "Oriental Studies." The students demonstrated excellent results and high proficiency in the Chinese language.
         The aim of the competition was to identify and develop students' public speaking abilities, provide an opportunity to showcase their public speaking skills, and strengthen ties between universities. The participants presented unique and well-researched topics that addressed important social, cultural, and scientific issues, demonstrating their high level of preparation.
       The competition took place in a warm and supportive atmosphere, allowing each participant not only to showcase their speech but also to display confidence, the ability to engage with the audience, and the originality of their ideas.
         This competition became an important step in the development of the student community and inspired the participants to achieve further success in the fields of public speaking and oratorical skills.
