SDG-4: A Tribute to Those Who Braved the Fire for the Motherland

On May 6, our university hosted a meaningful cultural event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The “Biz” Student Theatre under the University’s ART Center presented a musical performance interwoven with monologues titled “A Tribute to Those Who Braved the Fire for the Motherland.”
The production vividly portrayed the bravery of Kazakh heroes of World War II. Through heartfelt monologues based on archived letters and memories, the heroic deeds of Baurzhan Momyshuly, Aliya Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, Kasym Kaisenov, Khiuaz Dospanova, Talgat Begeldinov, and Rakhymzhan Koshkarbayev were powerfully brought to life.
Each scene resonated deeply with the audience, conveying the hardships of war, the spirit of the warriors, and their love and longing for their homeland. The performance masterfully blended historical authenticity with artistic expression, leaving a profound emotional impact and fostering patriotic values in the younger generation.
The event concluded with military drills by the university’s military department cadets, followed by a moving performance of “Victory Day” and “Atameken” by Alexey Timofeevich Bolgov.
The “A Tribute to Those Who Braved the Fire for the Motherland” performance served as a heartfelt homage to the valor of our heroes and a powerful reminder of the enduring legacy of the Great Victory.
