Dear doctoral students, master's students and undergraduates!
The Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science invites you to participate in the International Round Table "Intercultural Discussion: Points of Contact between Bulgaria and Central Asian countries" (Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan), organised within the framework of the bilateral agreement between Al-Farabi KazNU and St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (Bulgaria), and within the implementation of SDG 4 - Quality Education and SDG 17 - Partnership for Sustainable Development.
During the Roundtable, a scientific discussion will take place between professors from the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty, Kazakhstan), a scientific delegation from St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (Sofia, Bulgaria), online participants from Bukhara State University (Bukhara, Uzbekistan) and Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University (Ashgabat, Turkmenistan).

- To identify common historical and cultural influences uniting Bulgaria and Central Asian countries;
- to analyse contemporary forms of cultural exchange between Bulgaria and Central Asia.
Questions for discussion:
What are the potential benefits of exploring cultural ties between Bulgaria and Central Asia?
How can we foster better understanding and co-operation between these cultures in the future?
