Leadership Lecture: Conceptual Foundations of Social and Pedagogical Education

At the Department of Pedagogy and Education Management of Al-Farabi University, a leadership lecture entitled “Conceptual Foundations of Social and Pedagogical Education” was organized with the aim of broadening the academic outlook of students and young researchers and enhancing their professional competencies. The lecture was – N.S. Alkhozhaeva and B.A. Arinova.

The lecture provided an in-depth overview of:

• social pedagogy as a science and its theoretical foundations;

• the philosophical, sociological, psychological, and pedagogical aspects of social and pedagogical education, highlighting their interconnections;

• the specific features and significance of social pedagogy in the context of modern society;

• contemporary requirements for the training of specialists in the field of social pedagogy.

The event was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to engage in discussions, ask questions, and exchange ideas. The lecturers offered valuable insights, practical recommendations, and guidance for further academic exploration.

The lecture brought together bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students, making it an important academic event that not only expanded participants’ professional knowledge but also deepened their understanding of the role of social pedagogy in addressing today’s educational and social challenges.
