A Seminar on the JoVE Educational Platform was Held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology. SDG 4 and SDG 9

On the initiative of the Department of Academic Activities and Education (DAE), a seminar dedicated to the capabilities of the JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) educational platform was held in room 306 of the Faculty of Physics and Technology.

The JoVE platform is an international resource that includes video materials in natural, medical, and other sciences. It is widely used by universities around the world to enhance teaching quality and increase student engagement in the learning process.

The seminar was attended by the faculty members of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, who became acquainted with the platform’s functional capabilities as well as examples of integrating video materials into academic courses.

The meeting presented the following:

  • opportunities offered by the JoVE platform;

  • examples of integrating video materials into courses;

  • individual recommendations on resource selection;

  • answers to questions from faculty members.

Connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 4 – Quality Education: integration of innovative educational resources into the learning process to improve the quality of student training;

  • SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: the use of digital technologies and innovative solutions in the university’s educational activities.

Thus, the seminar became an important step in integrating modern educational practices and expanding KazNU’s international cooperation.
