Psychological Support of Al-Farabi KazNU and the Scientific and Practical Center «Inclusive Environment» within the framework of SDG-4: «Quality Education» held a seminar-training on "Professional Integration of Students into the Educational Environment of the University" for students living in Dormitory No. 4 on april 10. The training started with the «Introduction» exercise aimed at establishing positive relationships between the participants.
The main goal of the event was to assist students in successfully adapting to the academic and professional environment of higher education. Special attention was given to developing essential skills for effective learning and building a sustainable professional trajectory.
During the training seminar, participants received structured information about the process of professional adaptation, which covered the following key aspects:

features of the educational process in a university and how it differs from school-based learning;

development of professional, communicative, and personal competencies;

stress management skills, enhancement of internal motivation, and self-discipline;

social integration within a new environment and effective interaction with professors and peers;

strategic planning for professional growth and self-development.
Additionally, the program included interactive tasks and practical exercises aimed at enhancing teamwork, self-presentation skills, confident communication, and the ability to find common ground with diverse individuals.
The active participation of students, their engagement, and openness in discussions contributed to the creation of an atmosphere of mutual understanding, support, and trust. Participants shared personal experiences, voiced their concerns, and received feedback from both the facilitators and their peers.
As a result of the event, students not only broadened their understanding of professional adaptation mechanisms but also acquired practical tools and useful strategies that will help them navigate university life with greater confidence and build their professional future more consciously.
