IT specialists share their experience

The 10th International Scientific Conference "Mathematics, Mechanics and Information Technologies" has begun at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. This large-scale scientific event is being held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The conference is attended by prominent scientists and experts from Kazakhstan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, Russia, Portugal, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Georgia, and other countries.
The Chairman of the Board and Rector of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of digital technologies. "The development of digital technologies is a period of new opportunities and challenges. In his message, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted artificial intelligence as a priority area. Today, it is not only an object of research, but also a powerful tool for solving engineering and production tasks. The university is actively engaged in scientific projects in this area, involving young scientists and students in innovative activities," said the rector, introducing the research conducted by the university's scientific centers.
The opening ceremony was also addressed by Bakytzhan Zhumagulov, President of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aidarkhan Kaltayev, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Sergey Kabanikhin, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who shared their opinions on fundamental issues in mathematics and mechanics.
The three-day international meeting includes plenary sessions with world-class scientists, sectional sessions on mathematics, mechanics, and IT, poster sessions where young researchers will present their projects, a roundtable on "Artificial Intelligence in Science and Engineering: Challenges and Opportunities," and other events.
The conference will feature presentations by academics from the National Academies of Sciences of Kazakhstan and Russia, professors from the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Padua, the University of London (Queen Mary), Nazarbayev University, and other leading scientific centers. The best reports and studies will also be awarded special prizes.
The meeting will discuss fundamental and applied problems in mathematics and mechanics, as well as the latest achievements in robotics, information technology, and artificial intelligence.
