SDG-16: Interethnic Dialogue and Inclusivity at the “Jastar Generation – 2025” Camp

Important event dedicated to the development of intercultural dialogue and inclusive culture among youth was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Within the framework of the international youth camp “Jastar Generation – 2025” organized by the Youth Wing of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan – “Assembly Youth”, a meaningful meeting was held with young people from various countries.

The main goal of the event was to establish relations based on mutual understanding and trust among youth of Central Asia, strengthen regional cooperation, and promote cultural diversity and interethnic harmony. During the meeting, participants discussed effective ways to develop intercultural dialogue and emphasized the importance of unity based on shared values.

A distinctive feature of the event was the special focus on the principles of inclusion. Participants shared their thoughts on accepting diversity in society, creating a non-discriminatory environment, and social integration of youth with special needs. Dialogue sessions covered topics such as inclusive education, equal opportunities, and social justice, and proposed concrete measures to foster an inclusive culture among young people.

As a result of the meeting, young leaders and activists from different countries expressed their intention to implement joint projects in the future based on principles of unity, mutual respect, and cooperation. This served as a bright example of strengthening an inclusive environment that enables all youth — regardless of ethnic, social, cultural, or physical characteristics — to actively participate in social life.

At the end of the event, participants highlighted the role of international cooperation in addressing pressing youth policy issues and emphasized the necessity of regularly organizing such dialogue platforms.
