The republican round table "Modern education and artificial intelligence: a new paradigm of personality formation" was held at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. It was attended by university professors, students, undergraduates and doctoral students.

The event was organized in line with the initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, outlined in the message to the people of Kazakhstan. The Head of State noted: "We live in an era of profound transformations, when AI has a decisive impact on the development of the economy, public administration systems, science and, above all, education. Our main goal is to turn Kazakhstan into an advanced, civilized state"

The round table was opened by Bakytzhan Omarov, a member of the Board, Acting Vice–Rector for Social Development, who stressed that education is undergoing significant changes in the digital age, and the university is actively involved in personality formation in a new paradigm.

During the discussion, presentations were made on the topics "The professional image of a teacher in digital education" and "The role of artificial intelligence in the educational process". The participants exchanged views on methods of integrating AI into education, new approaches to learning, and the importance of technology for personal education.

As a result of the round table, recommendations were developed to improve the practice of AI-based education and measures were proposed for further implementation of technologies in the system.
