“Youth and a Peaceful Society: The Importance of Institutions of Justice and Trust”

As part of SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, an open curatorial hour was held among first-year students of the specialty “Natural and Technogenic Risks” on the topic “Youth and a Peaceful Society: The Importance of Institutions of Justice and Trust.”
The purpose of the event was to develop students’ understanding of the role of the young generation in building a peaceful, just, and sustainable society. During the meeting, the curator emphasized that trust between citizens and state institutions is the foundation of social stability and development.
Students actively participated in the discussion, sharing their thoughts on the importance of justice and trust in everyday life, and provided examples from history and modern society. Particular attention was paid to the role of youth in maintaining peace, respecting the law, and strengthening social harmony.
The curatorial hour concluded with the understanding that the creation of a peaceful society begins with each individual — with their willingness to be fair, responsible, and open to dialogue. Such meetings contribute to the development of students’ civic engagement and foster a culture of trust and mutual understanding.
