Classes are conducted at the partner enterprise Rixos Almaty

Classes for students majoring in “Restaurant and Hotel Business” at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism are held at the partner enterprise — Rixos Almaty Hotel.

The main goal of these classes is to consolidate students’ theoretical knowledge in a real working environment and to develop their professional skills in the field of hospitality services.

The classes are conducted by Senior Lecturer B.I. Aktymbaev, who provides students with practical insights into the service standards and management practices of Rixos Almaty Hotel, helping them acquire applied knowledge relevant to their specialty.

Such practice-oriented training allows students to become competitive and highly qualified professionals, fully prepared to meet the demands of the modern labor market. This initiative aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 — “Quality Education,” contributing to the enhancement of students’ professional competencies through the development of their practical skills.
