Presentation of the French Centre at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences

On October 8, 2025, the official presentation of the French Center took place at the Faculty of Geography of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event took place in the large assembly hall of Academic Building No. 3 and was attended by students, faculty, and representatives of the center.

The purpose of the event was to introduce students to educational opportunities in France, academic mobility programs, and resources for learning French.

During the presentation, participants were provided with information on the following topics:

• Education in France and scholarship programs for students;
• Launch of French language courses;
• Activities of conversation clubs and a film club;
• Meetings with French citizens and the development of cultural cooperation.

The work of the French Center is aimed at increasing student interest in learning foreign languages, studying abroad, and expanding international cooperation. Participants were active, asked questions, and expressed interest in the center's activities.
