SDG-4: The Beginning of Spiritual Wealth — Theatre!

On October 14, 2025, students from the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University specially visited the Gabit Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth with the aim of enriching their cultural and spiritual life and increasing their interest in the arts. There, they watched the outstanding Kazakh drama performance «Qyzyl oramaldy Shynarym» («My Red Scarf Shynar»).
This performance addresses relevant issues in contemporary Kazakh society, artistically portraying the harmony between national traditions and modern life. During the play, students deeply engaged with the profound meaning conveyed through the director’s decisions, the masterful acting, and stage design, which contributed to the development of their spiritual and aesthetic taste.
The main idea of the play revolves around the family and the role of women in society, their life struggles, and destinies. This theme helps young people better understand current social issues and deepen their appreciation of moral values. The performance left a strong impression on the audience, sparking meaningful discussions and exchanges of opinions among the students.
