Open Lesson within the Framework of SDG 4 – Quality Education: “Republic Day: Achievements of Independence and Prospects for the Development of New Kazakhstan”

On October 20, 2025, the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology held an open lesson as part of the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 – Quality Education, titled: “Republic Day: Achievements of Independence and Prospects for the Development of New Kazakhstan.”
The event was organized by the 1st- and 4th-year students of the educational program “6B05105 – Genetics” under the guidance of curators Sh.M. Yrgynbayeva and G.N. Shaltenbay.
The aim of the open lesson was to enhance students’ respect for the history and values of independence of Kazakhstan, and to discuss the social, economic, and cultural development directions within the framework of the “New Kazakhstan” concept.
During the lesson, students presented reports on the historical importance of Republic Day, the country’s achievements over the years of independence, and strategic goals for the future.

The event strengthened the students’ patriotic spirit and fostered a sense of civic responsibility for the future of their nation.
