Eco Hub and Its Environmental Initiatives Presented at KazNU Fair

An autumn fair dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 35th anniversary of the Declaration of State Sovereignty was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Particular attention was drawn to the KazNU Eco Hub stand, which showcased a joint project with ECONetwork aimed at promoting green initiatives and fostering environmental awareness among students.

At the Eco Hub stand, visitors could see handmade items and souvenirs created by students from recycled and eco-friendly materials. Guests also took part in interactive workshops, learned about waste separation principles, and discovered more about the center’s activities.

The KazNU Eco Hub serves as a platform for implementing environmental projects, educational programs, and scientific initiatives focused on introducing sustainable practices into university life and the wider community.

The fair became a space for creative interaction between students and faculty, combining scientific, cultural, and social initiatives that reflect KazNU’s commitment to developing environmental responsibility and a sustainable future.
