The Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science held a webinar on preparing and submitting grant applications.
The event was organized by A. Karybaeva, Deputy Dean for Research, Innovation, and International Cooperation, and A. Sarieva, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies.
The webinar aimed to systematize information and clarify the most frequently asked questions among faculty and young researchers at the faculty.
The following topics were covered in detail during the online meeting:
• Basic application requirements and deadlines;
• Common errors when completing documents;
• Specific aspects of budget preparation;
• Application approval procedures at the faculty level;
• Answers to practical questions from participants.
The webinar was presented by Sandugash Sandybaeva, PhD, Senior Research Fellow, responsible for over 12 research projects. She is currently completing an internship in the United States under the Bolashak program, which allowed her to share not only the practical aspects of grant application preparation but also international experience in participating in research funding competitions.
The event was held in a constructive atmosphere and generated considerable interest among faculty and researchers. Following the meeting, the participants noted the relevance of the issues discussed and expressed their willingness to continue such professional exchange formats.
