KazNU hosted a training seminar for career guidance in Almaty schools "Ai-guided career: the path from student to specialist", organized jointly with the city Department of Education.
The significance and relevance of the event lies in the fact that in the context of digitalization and the emergence of new professions, it is necessary to review approaches to career guidance in schools. A career guidance specialist helps students build individual learning and professional development paths.
In order to improve the skills of school career guidance specialists, it is important to create a platform for the exchange of experience, methods and best practices, as well as establish direct interaction between schools and leading higher education institutions in the country.

Alina Galeeva, Member of the Board and Vice–Rector for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony. She emphasized the role of career guidance specialists, which is becoming "key" in a rapidly developing labor market. They are the ones who are able to determine the future fate of a person. "Al-Farabi Kazakh National University pays a lot of attention to this issue. At each faculty, you can see a number of events that are aimed at immersing students in a professional environment: Olympiads, various competitions, conferences in which students can participate," the vice–rector emphasized. "It is very important for us that you and I help students find the right path, instill a love for the profession they are interested in. I will study all my life".

The presentations of the seminar speakers were devoted to topical topics and issues: "The role of the admissions committee in supporting career guidance" (Aidar Zhumalipov, head of the KazNU Admission Office), "Career guidance in the era of artificial intelligence" (Aidos Zhumanazar, career guidance specialist, founder of the Eduser and Ustaz Media platforms), etc.
The event also included a Q&A panel dedicated to the topic "Career guidance: Practice, challenges, solutions", where participants were able to participate in a discussion on current career guidance topics.
