Fundamentals of Student Budget Management
The main goal of the event was to enhance students’ financial literacy, develop skills for effective personal budget management, and foster a culture of responsible financial decision-making through income and expense planning. In addition, the event aimed to improve students’ economic thinking and promote the values of sustainable development.
A round table and discussion on the topic “Fundamentals of Student Budget Management” were held among 4th-year students. During the event, participants discussed financial challenges faced by students, ways to increase income, and methods to reduce expenses. Students suggested simple and effective strategies for managing a personal budget, such as planning the use of scholarships, controlling unnecessary spending, saving money, and allocating funds purposefully.
Participants also shared their experience in using modern financial tools such as banking applications, online budget planners, and mobile financial calculators. During the discussion, students provided real-life examples and emphasized that financial literacy directly affects quality of life.
