SDG 12: Educational Session on «Time Management and Productivity Improvement» Held
Our educational institution hosted an important and beneficial event for students — a curator–advisor session titled «Time Management and Productivity Improvement».
The session was organized by Gulsyma Kurbambekkyzy Dairabekova, Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Philology, and A.Zh. Boranbayeva, Senior Lecturer and curator-advisor of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
The main purpose of the event was to develop students’ skills in using time efficiently, planning their activities, and enhancing personal productivity. During the session, participants were introduced to the importance of effective time management, practical methods for increasing productivity, and the principles of responsible time allocation and self-organization.
Students learned about the core principles of time management, techniques for setting goals and identifying priorities, as well as modern tools and methods for using time wisely.
Senior Lecturer Gulsyma Kurbambekkyzy provided practical recommendations on the role of planning in both professional and personal development.
The event was held in an interactive format: students actively took part in discussions, shared personal experiences, and talked about challenges they face in managing time in their daily and academic lives. They also explored real-life situations, discussing effective strategies for saving time and exchanging useful tips.
At the end of the session, participants shared their impressions and highlighted the relevance and value of the topic. The meeting gave students new motivation to improve their time management skills and boost their productivity.
Such educational and motivational sessions significantly contribute to the personal and professional development of future specialists, helping them cultivate responsibility and strong self-organization skills.
