SDG 3. «Cheerful Break» – A Mini Relaxation Zone Against Stress within the SDG Framework
The Faculty of Pre-University Education and the Department of Pre-University Preparation organized the “Cheerful Break” event for students, aimed at reducing psychological stress during lessons and improving emotional well-being.
Event Goal within the SDG Framework:
The initiative was implemented in line with SDG 3 – “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.”
Additionally, the event contributes to achieving SDG 4 – “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”
The main goal is to strengthen students’ psychological health, reduce stress, enhance learning effectiveness, and create a supportive educational environment.
Activities during the event included:
- Refreshing sports games;
- Drawing and creative activities;
- Expressive poetry reading;
- Singing, knitting, embroidery, and other leisure activities.
These activities helped students develop their creative potential, fine motor skills, and emotional resilience.
Outcome:
Although “Cheerful Break” was a small-scale event, it had a significant impact on:
- Improving mood;
- Increasing self-confidence;
- Facilitating preparation for lessons and exams;
- Strengthening overall psychological well-being.
Such small but meaningful breaks help students recharge, boost confidence, and successfully navigate their studies and exam periods.
The event supports the Sustainable Development Goals by creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment for students.
