The Faculty of Pre-University Education and the Department of Pre-University Preparation organized the “Cheerful Break” event for students, aimed at reducing psychological stress during lessons and improving emotional well-being.

Event Goal within the SDG Framework:

The initiative was implemented in line with SDG 3 – “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.”
Additionally, the event contributes to achieving SDG 4 – “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”
The main goal is to strengthen students’ psychological health, reduce stress, enhance learning effectiveness, and create a supportive educational environment.

Activities during the event included:

  • Refreshing sports games;
  • Drawing and creative activities;
  • Expressive poetry reading;
  • Singing, knitting, embroidery, and other leisure activities.

These activities helped students develop their creative potential, fine motor skills, and emotional resilience.

Outcome:

Although “Cheerful Break” was a small-scale event, it had a significant impact on:

  • Improving mood;
  • Increasing self-confidence;
  • Facilitating preparation for lessons and exams;
  • Strengthening overall psychological well-being.

Such small but meaningful breaks help students recharge, boost confidence, and successfully navigate their studies and exam periods.
The event supports the Sustainable Development Goals by creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment for students.
