SDG 5 – Gender Equality. Women in STEM/IT: Women’s Experience in Science and Information Technology. Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.

Within the framework of Women in STEM/IT: Women’s Experience in Science and Information Technology, a series of academic courses and projects were presented and successfully defended. As part of the Sustainable Business Strategy course, Professor Madina Yesimkhanovna Mansurova introduced key issues related to integrating sustainable development principles into business strategies. Within the Green and Sustainable Project Management course, Talshyn Sarsembayeva demonstrated approaches to managing environmentally responsible projects. Under the Green Entrepreneurship and Innovation direction, Zhadira Erkin highlighted the importance of green entrepreneurship and innovation.

The presented projects aimed to combine sustainability and innovation. During the defense, participants supported their theoretical knowledge with practical examples. Special attention was given to the professional role and experience of women in science and IT. Discussions addressed issues of gender equality and expanding opportunities for women. The event contributed to enhancing participants’ scientific thinking and professional competencies. This initiative became an important academic effort supporting women’s active engagement in STEM and IT fields.
