SDG 3. “The Role of Vitamins in Human Health”
As part of promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an educational event entitled “The Role of Vitamins in Human Health” was held with the listeners of the Pre-University Training Department.
The aim of the event was to enhance students’ understanding of vitamins, discuss key issues related to the topic, and explain the types of vitamins and their role in the human body. During the event, participants were introduced to the two main groups of vitamins — water-soluble and fat-soluble, along with their functions and importance for health.
In addition, information was provided on daily vitamin requirements, the history of vitamin discovery, and the beneficial effects of each vitamin on human health. At the end of the event, participants were able to ask questions and engage in an interactive discussion.
The event was conducted in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3 — “Good Health and Well-Being”, contributing to the development of health awareness and a responsible attitude toward a healthy lifestyle among students.
