On February 19, 2026, an event titled «Social Features of Family Budget Management» was held for students at Student House №16 of the Higher School of Economics and Business at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. This event was organized within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals «SDG 1: No Poverty» and «SDG 4: Quality Education». The primary objective of the meeting was to increase financial literacy among youth and to develop skills for the effective and rational use of financial resources.
The event featured a special guest speaker, Karimova Madina Dautovna, PhD, Associate Professor, Sorbonne–Kazakhstan Institute, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. She shared valuable insights and practical advice with the participants. Students majoring in «Economics» and students of the faculty's Kazakh department residing in the dormitory participated in the event.
During the meeting, participants discussed the importance of family budget planning and explored social approaches and specific methods for efficient spending. Students showed great enthusiasm, exchanging views on financial freedom and personal responsibility.
