SDG – 4: Seminar-Training on “Developing Students’ Academic Motivation”
The Psychological Service and the Scientific and Practical Center “Inclusive Environment” of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University conducted a seminar-training for students residing in Dormitory No. 4 as part of Sustainable Development Goal 4 — “Quality Education.”
The topic of the seminar was “Developing Students’ Academic Motivation.”

During the seminar, key factors influencing students’ academic motivation were discussed, along with reasons for its decline and psychological aspects related to academic workload and living conditions in student dormitories. Special attention was given to the role of intrinsic motivation, conscious learning, and personal academic goal-setting.

The practical part of the seminar-training included interactive exercises aimed at developing self-regulation skills, maintaining academic engagement, and strengthening sustainable motivation in the learning process. Participants actively engaged in discussions and shared their experiences.
The seminar-training contributed to creating a supportive educational environment and strengthening students’ motivational resources.
