Curatorial Hour “Tolerance and Mutual Respect” (SDGs 4, 10, 16)
On February 19, 2026, a curatorial session was held for second-year students majoring in Industrial Electronics and Control Systems on the topic “Tolerance and Mutual Respect.” During the event, students were provided with a comprehensive explanation of the concept of tolerance, the role of a culture of mutual respect in society, and the importance of adhering to ethical norms in interpersonal communication. Practical examples were also presented demonstrating appropriate behavior in public places, educational institutions, and family settings, respect for diversity of opinions, and constructive ways of resolving conflict situations. The curator emphasized that tolerance is an important value that contributes to personal development, teamwork, and social stability. Special attention was paid to the importance of demonstrating patience, understanding, and responsibility in communication.
Students shared their opinions, discussed real-life communication situations encountered in everyday life, and suggested ways to resolve them appropriately. During the discussion, participants noted that mutual respect and a culture of communication increase trust between people and help create a positive environment. The event was conducted with active student participation, generated strong interest, and had a positive impact on fostering a culture of tolerance.
