We are 3rd year students of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In the 2019-2020 academic year, we studied and gained experience in the 1st semester of the "Student Exchange" program at Istanbul University in Istanbul, Turkey. We would like to thank the staff of the Faculty of Law, including the head of the department Aizhan Yerzhanovna, our curator-advisor Aigarinova Gulnar for this opportunity. We would also like to thank Mr. Mehmet Bey for his help in collecting documents and in Turkish.

Studying abroad, improving one's education, learning the language, getting acquainted with the culture - was one of our dreams. This opportunity was very interesting for us. We went to Istanbul together with 9 students. Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey, located on the shores of the Sea of ​​Marmara, full of ancient monuments.

Uncle Oraz helped us a lot in Istanbul. He was always with us, taught us the unknown, showed us the way, introduced us to its culture and traditions. He said that a few years ago he taught at our KazNU. He speaks Kazakh very well. We are very grateful to our brother Oraz.

As mentioned above, we visited Istanbul, Turkey. The city is one of the most developed tourist centers and cities of the Republic of Turkey. It is located on the shores of the Sea of ​​Marmara, on both sides of the Bosphorus, in the watershed that connects Asia and Europe. With a population of several million, there is the world-famous ancient Istanbul University. Historical and architectural complexes, historical and cultural monuments, mosques, large libraries located in the most beautiful places of the ancient city attract attention.

The Turkish people welcomed us warmly and well, perhaps because we have a deep-rooted history and brotherhood. There is an area where the Kazakh people live. The Turkish people are kind, hardworking and trust us, even though we are foreigners.

Turks are a compassionate people, think about it, it is a great honor to study in a country with a population of several million. Students are highly valued and respected. There were many times when we found out about it and went to the store and bought something we liked, saying that we were students and made a discount. He is also understanding. Teachers constantly tried to find and explain the Kazakh equivalents of places that they could not understand in teaching. He wants everyone to take an active part in the lessons.

There are many benefits to going abroad and getting to know the country and the land. You improve your knowledge and influence your attitude and thoughts. Kazakhs are well received in Turkey. If we had a chance to go to Turkey, we would not miss this opportunity, we would go again.

However, we know that we cannot live in that country. We think that you can only study and relax there. A few more years (if I study). Let's share our knowledge and experience in our country! Our homeland is more expensive than any other country. We are very happy to be born in such a vast, dark, generous country!
