The curatorial hour on "The peculiarities of distance learning"
On October 10, 2020, the curator-adviser of the 3rd year of the Japanese Studies Department held another curatorial hour with the 3rd year students. During the curatorial hour, the peculiarities of distance learning were discussed, each student shared his opinion. All students pointed to the advantages and certain difficulties of learning in the new format. Among the advantages were noted such features as: saving time on the way to the university and back, the ability to study in a comfortable home with their parents. Meanwhile, the main problems for most were technical problems, eye strain due to the need to spend a long time at the computer. Also, students noted the importance of socialization. They would like to come to class, see each other in real life.
Then they moved on to discussing student progress and general issues. At the end, the topics of the upcoming curatorial events were discussed.
