INFORMATION AND INTRODUCTION MEETING
On October 23, 2020, in the online format, as part of the Shin Sede student circle, an advisory hour was held on the topic "Scientific research methodology: the experience of preparing scientific projects and articles" with the participation of 2nd year students of the Far East Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
The lecturers of the Department of the Far East, PhD Dr. Lee Byong Jo, Shatekova Gulnur, Toktarova Zhansayawere invited to this event, who shared their experience in conducting scientific work. Professor Lee Byong Jo is an experienced scientist who has been involved in scientific projects for many years. He gave the students extensive information about scientific projects, told what colossal work scientists participating in scientific projects do in order to achieve their goals and objectives, and also familiarized students with the results of scientific projects in which he himself participated.
Gulnur Shatekova, PhD, senior lecturer, this year returned to the department, having completed her doctoral studies under the GKS program of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea. Zhansaya Toktarova is also a lecturer who completed her doctoral studies under the GKS program of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea and received a PhD. During the meeting, Gulnur Kurmanseitovna and Zhansaya Baurzhanovna told the students in detail about research methodologies, types of research, the meaning of research, research problems, techniques, tools, research design, research approbation, measurement and scaling methods, data collection methods, data analysis methods and hypothesis compilation methods. research. They told the students in a very entertaining way about the peculiarities of writing a scientific article, as well as about the advantages and difficulties of education in Korea.
The information and orientation meeting was organized with the aim of developing students 'interest in research work and ended with answers to students' questions.
