Young Teachers School Seminar: «Modern Methods of Teaching Young Teachers»

From January 20-22, 2021, teachers of the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Information Technologies took an active part in the next annual seminar on advanced training of young teachers of the university "School of Young Teachers", where experienced and professional teachers of the department made informative reports.

Thus, Professor of the Department of Informatics N.N. Kerimbaev made a report and presentation on the topic of the seminar. In his speech, the professor in a simple and understandable form spoke about the "Feedback Technology" with students in distance learning. During the presentation, he communicated with the audience, answered questions, thereby showing his professionalism.

It is also worth noting the speech of the Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics A. R. Turganbaeva with a report on the topic "Leadership as one of the qualities of a teacher." Today this topic is one of the most relevant. The report considered the issue of the need to develop the leadership qualities of a teacher, as a result of which students will receive a quality education and correct upbringing. Also during the seminar, Associate Professor A.R. Turganbaeva shared her experience with young teachers, telling how one or another teaching methods can be applied in practice. Further, the communication of the seminar participants demonstrated the relevance of the topic and the need to accumulate practical experience, taking into account the introduction of new digital and computer technologies.

In conclusion, the participants of the seminar gave feedback: they told about their impressions of the meeting, what they learned about the new teaching methods presented during the seminar, and highly appreciated the level of the seminar on training teachers / trainers.

In general, according to the young teachers of the Faculty of Information Technologies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as other participants of the seminar, the reports presented at the seminar aroused great interest. The hands-on guidance of young teachers and the use of information technology by experienced mentor teachers gave them hope that their online and offline teaching would help them in the future.
