On February 24, 2021, Deputy Head of the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University KerimbayevYerzhanAbdraimovich held an online meeting with theteaching staff and pupils of the Ekibastuz special secondary school "Zerde" for gifted children. Kerimbayev E.A. told the teachers and pupils of grades 9-10-11 of the school "Zerde", and parents about the specialty of "Oriental Studies" in the lecture "Study the East, be surprised!"
During the lecture, extensive information was provided about the history of the specialty of "Oriental Studies", its current state and prospects, as well as about the history of our faculty and other taught specialties. Parents and pupils asked questions about state grants in the specialties taught at our faculty and about the employment of graduates, to which they received detailed answers.
